FORMER STATON OFFICER ARRESTED

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Friday, August 15, 2025, Alabama Dept of Corrections (ADOC) arrested former Staton Correctional Sergeant Delano Dailey following an investigation into the introduction of contraband into the facilities.

Dailey was transported to the Elmore County Jail and has been charged with Promoting Prison Contraband, 1st and 2nd degree.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
