Dr. Elizabeth Mautz,

Women's Services Operations
Dr. Elizabeth K. Mautz joined the Alabama Department of Corrections(ADOC) in January 2019 and currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Women’s Services. In this role, Dr. Mautz oversees operations for three statewide facilities serving the female incarcerated population and the coordination of ADOC services and programming for females housed at the Alabama Therapeutic and Educational Facility (ATEF).
Prior to her appointment as Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Mautz served as the Women’s Services Administrator and was responsible for programming, treatment, classification, and research.
Dr. Mautz holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Auburn University and Masters’ degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University and Public Administration from the University of Georgia. She is a Certified Program Evaluator, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alabama.
