Minimum-In: Work assignments for Minimum-In inmates must be on-property at a minimum, medium or close security facility and may be supervised
by non-security personnel with the express approval of the Warden/designee.
Minimum-Out: Minimum-Out inmates can be assigned to off-property work details without the direct supervision of correctional officers. Minimum-Out inmates will
generally be assigned to Community Work Centers (CWC), with higher security facilities only maintaining a small number for job assignments requiring minimal supervision.
Minimum-Community (Min-Comm): Inmates in this custody are allowed gainful employment in the community on a full-time basis and will be supervised in community based facilities when not working.
Medium:(security level four) correctional facilities are designed for housing inmates who have demonstrated less severe behavioral problems. Inmates are considered to be suitable for participation in formalized institutional treatment programs, work assignments, or other activities within the confines of an institution.

Bibb County Correctional Facility opened in July 1997 and is located on 250 acres in Brent, AL. The facility’s purpose is to provide offenders with educational, substance abuse treatment and various self-improvement programs to enhance their productive return to society.
Bibb County Correctional Facility also provides a total-care medical infirmary with complete dental care, emergency room, and diagnostic services through a private medical contractor. Bibb is classified as a medium custody correctional facility.
Ingram State Technical College offers the following education programs at Bibb: Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical.
